Contest 2 - Team Battle: Build or join a team to win from 80,000 USDT

During the contest, users canapply to become team captains or join existing teams. Qualified teams will be ranked by their total futures trading volume to win a share of 80,000 USDT and digital award certificates!

- Rewards for captains of qualified teams:

1. A 10 USDT trial fund for captains with Level 1 accounts and 20 USDT trial fund for those with Level 2 accounts. A prize pool of 5,000 USDT trial funds will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Contest 3 - Master Trader: Trade to win from 30,000 USDT

Users need toregister to participate in the Master Trader contest. All qualified participants will be ranked based on their profit and profit rate and have a chance to win from 30,000 USDT and get VIP benefits as well as digital award certificates!

- Rewards for master traders: The first 2,000 qualified participants can earn a 5 USDT trial fund. The prize totals 10,000 USDT in trial funds.

Contest 5 - Daily Lucky Draw: Trade everyday to split 20,000 USDT

During the competition, users who trade ≥100 USDT in futures everyday can enter a daily lucky draw. 

 

Our system will take the single-digit value of the Poloniex BTC perpetual contract closing price on the same day as the "Lucky / Winning number". Users with a "Total Futures trading amount" (only the value before the decimal point will be counted) containing the "Lucky / Winning number" will share 1,000 USDT, the total prize pool is 20,000 USDT.

 

Rules and Terms

1. Time: Competition period: 20 days, December 10, 2022 at 00:00—December 30, 2022 at 00:00 (UTC)

 

2. Contest 1: During the contest, the first 1,000 usersregistering for the contest, enable futures trading or trade any amount in futures for the first time can earn a 50 USDT coupon. All usersregistering for the contest, complete specified tasks can earn corresponding points.

• Futures coupon: The coupon prize pool totals 50,000 USDT; the coupons will be distributed to users usually the next day after they meet the requirements and will expire within 72 hours upon distribution;
• Users will share a prize pool totaling 20,000 USDT in proportion to their points.

3. Contest 2: During the contest, users canapply tobecome team captains or join existing teams. Qualified teams (the captain and members included) will be ranked by their total futures trading volume to win a share of 80,000 USDT and digital award certificates!

• New users invited by the captain after the captain's registration for the event will automatically become their team members; users invited by the captain before the captain's registration will not count as their team members, but the user's trading volume will count as the team's trading volume until they join other teams.
• A user can either be a captain or a team member, and they can create or join teams until three days before the event ends.
• A qualified team is defined as a team with one captain and at least one team member (no upper limit is set on the number of team members) and a futures trading volume of 1,000 USDT or more during the contest.
• Rewards for captains of qualified teams:
  • • A 10 USDT trial fund for captains with Level 1 accounts and 20 USDT trial fund for those with Level 2 accounts. A prize pool of 5,000 USDT trial funds will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
    • Captains will be entitled to the highest commission rate (expires in 90 days) as "Sun Captain" of the Space Traveller program after the contest ends!
• Rewards for team members: The first 1,000 users who choose to join a team will get a 50 USDT coupon, and the total prize of 50,000 USDT will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Rewards for inviting new users: During the contest, users who invite their friends to sign up for Poloniex and this competition can earn an 80% commission on their referrals' net trading fees for futures. Details are as follows:

• • • Users may go to the Referral Center to check their Space Traveller Tier, which determines their basic commission rate. The basic commissions will be distributed on a daily basis as usual;
    • The bonus commissions in this contest (net of the basic commissions) will be distributed to inviters after the contest ends. Bonus commissions = Invitee's net futures trading fees * 80% - Total basic commissions - Invitee's futures trading rebates;
    • The inviter will not be rewarded with commissions if their invitee trades in futures with coupons or trial funds.

• Futures coupons:
  • • Coupon for team members: The coupons will be distributed to users usually the next day after they meet the requirements and will expire within 72 hours upon distribution;
    • The coupon rewards for team members in Contest 3 and those for new signups in Contest 1 are mutually exclusive.
• Reward allocation within winning teams:
  • • The captain of the winning team will win 50% of the total rewards.
    • Team members who trade 500 USDT or more will share 35% of the team's total rewards based on their trading volume.
    • Team members who trade less than 500 USDT in futures will share 15% of the team's total rewards.
      • Only members who trade ≥10 USDT in futures are qualified for team-based rewards;
      • If there is only one member under the captain, this member can receive 50% of the team's rewards.

4. Contest 3: Users need toregisterto participate in the Master Trader contest. All qualified participants will be ranked based on their profit and profit rate and have a chance to win from 30,000 USDT and get VIP benefits as well as digital award certificates!

• Rewards for master traders: The first 2,000 qualified participants can earn a 5 USDT trial fund. The prize totals 10,000 USDT in trial funds.
• VIP benefits: Winners will be entitled to Futures VIP 5 benefits and enjoy lower fee rates for futures trading (expire in 90 days) after the contest ends!
• Qualified participants: Users who registered for this contest with a cumulative futures trading volume of 500 USDT or more are defined as qualified participants.
• Ranking requirement: Only traders with at least 1 USDT in profit will be ranked in the Master Trader contest by profit; only those with a positive profit rate will be ranked in the Master Trader contest by profit rate.

5. Contest 4: During the contest, individual traders and teams will be ranked by their cumulative futures trading volume and have a chance to bring home amazing prizes, including Maserati Ghibli and Tesla Model 3, provided that their trading volume meets specified requirements.

• The prize will be given away in USDT equivalent to the sale prices (tax excluded) of Maserati Ghibli, Tesla Model 3, and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max on their official websites.
• Captains of the winning teams will receive the prize and determine reward allocation within the team;
• Special Award for API Trading: During the contest, Poloniex will reach out to quantitative trading teams with outstanding performance in API trading for intensive cooperation and offer 100,000 USDT as a baseline for investment. Performance evaluation is based on the team's: 1) trading strategies, 2) fund size, 3) profit rate, and 4) return over maximum drawdown.

6. Contest 5:During the competition, users who trade ≥100 USDT in futures everyday can enter a daily lucky draw.Our system will take the single-digit value of the Poloniex BTC perpetual contract closing price on the same day as the "Lucky / Winning number". Users with a "Total Futures trading amount" (only the value before the decimal point will be counted) containing the "Lucky / Winning number" will share 1,000 USDT.

• The prize pool totals 20,000 USDT with 1,000 USDT to be split every day;
• A user who holds multiple lucky (winning) numbers on a day will only receive one share of the daily prize pool.
• Example: User A, who trades a total of 12345.67 USDT in futures on a given day of the competition, holds five numbers, namely 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, eligible for the lucky draw. If the BTC perpetual contract closed at 20123.5 USD on that day, where the digit in the ones place is 3 (the lucky number), then User A would then be qualified to split the prize pool.

7. Definitions and explanations:

• Log in to Poloniex to generate your referral code or referral link.Generate now.
• Futures trading volume = Futures buys + Futures sells. Trading volume is calculated in USDT; Opening and closing positions of the day all count as effective trading volume;
• Valid futures trading day: A day's futures trading volume accrues from 00:00 to 23:59 on the same day (UTC).
• First futures trade: No trade in futures at all over the last 120 days;
• First futures transfer: No transfers to the futures account at all over the last 120 days;
• The formulas for calculating My Profit and Profit Rate for Master Trader are as follows:

• • • Profit on futures trading = Balance in the futures account by the end of the competition (including unrealized PnL/trial funds) - Balance in the futures account at the start of the competition (including unrealized PnL/trial funds) + Withdrawals from the futures account throughout the competition - Deposits into the futures account throughout the competition
    • Profit Rate on futures trading = [ Profit on futures trading / (Balance in the futures account at the start of the competition + Net deposits into the futures account throughout the competition) ] *100%

8. All rewards will be distributed to your futures account within 10 working days (excluding weekends) after the competition ends.

• Trial fund: The futures trial funds will be valid for 90 days and recycled upon expiration; trial funds cannot be transferred or withdrawn, while any profits made from them can be withdrawn. While trading futures, the trial fund can be used as a trading margin or used to offset account losses and pay trading fees and funding rates. Please refer to the Poloniex Futures Trial Fund Rules for details.
• USDT coupon: USDT coupon can be used to pay the trading fees of perpetual contracts. The trading fees will not be discounted when the order is executed, and you will receive fee rebates at a later time.
• Any reward smaller than 0.01 USDT will not be distributed.  

9. Eligibility: This competition is not open to market makers and users with negative fee rates.
Poloniex employees who, in the course of their duties, become aware of inside information, whether intentionally or unintentionally, are considered insiders. Likewise, non-Poloniex employees who are informed of such information are also considered insiders.
Insiders must abide by the following rules to avoid and prevent any insider trading:
(1) The insider information must be kept strictly confidential and must not be disclosed to any non-insider personnel (including family & relatives) inside or outside of Poloniex. (2) Insiders are not permitted to use their corporate or personal accounts to trade on the Poloniex Platform.

10. We are unable to distribute rewards or airdrops to customer accounts that are frozen, closed, or based in a prohibited country/region. Prohibited countries/regions are as follows: Crimea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Mali, North Korea, Palestine, Syrian Arab Republic, Somalia, Sudan,  Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Cote d'Ivoire, Yemen, Lebanon, Myanmar, the Chinese Mainland, Cuba, Burundi, Morocco, United States of America and all U.S. territories, and any country or region subject to an embargo or other similar sanctions imposed by the U.S., the U.K., or the European Union (the "Restricted Territory").

11. The rules of the event shall be subject to Poloniex’s interpretations， amendments and decisions, which shall be final. To ensure a fair campaign, we reserve the right to disqualify any user who is known or suspected to have cheated or violated the rules set by Poloniex (e.g., using multiple accounts to win multiple prizes).
