What is USDT-TRON?
USDT is a cryptocurrency issued by Tether, that is compatible with the Ethereum, Tron, and OMNI networks. Tether and Tron first announced a collaboration to list a USDT compatible with the TRC-20 standard in April 2019.
How to Deposit USDT
1. Log into your Poloniex account and navigate to the Poloniex deposit and withdrawal screen. For your safety, always confirm that you are securely logged into Poloniex by reviewing the URL:
2. Upon arrival, locate USDT and click, Deposit. You will then be prompted to select a deposit protocol, you will have 3 options: USDT-ERC20, USDT-OMNI, USDT-TRON:

6. Use the according generated address to send the coin to your Poloniex USDT wallet.
Please note that only your USDT from the Ethereum network is compatible with your USDT-ERC20 address. Further, USDT coins from the Omni layer is only compatible with your USDT-Omni address, and USDT from the TRON network is only compatible with your USDT-TRON address. Sending your USDT coins to the incompatible address may result in the loss of your deposit.
How to Withdraw USDT

Please note that only your USDT from the Ethereum network is compatible with your USDT-ERC20 address. Further, USDT coins from the Omni layer is only compatible with your USDT-Omni address, and USDT from the TRON network is only compatible with your USDT-TRON address. What if I withdraw my USDT-ERC20 to my USDT-Omni or USDT-TRON address(and vice versa)?
Our system is able to identify the different types of address and will prevent one type of coin being deposited into the wrong type of address.
Can I deposit TRON to my USDT-TRON wallet?
No, USDT-TRON wallets are only compatible with USDT-TRON, and not with any other coin.
What if I don’t want USDT-TRON or USDT-ERC20 and want to continue using USDT-OMNI?
You are able to deposit and withdraw your USDT-OMNI, USDT-TRON, and USDT-ERC20 as you desire. On the exchange, your USDT from either chain will be traded as USDT.
What about my existing USDT?
If you previously had USDT held in your Poloniex account, this will remain as USDT to trade. When you withdraw, however, you will have the option to send it as either USDT-ERC20, USDT-OMNI, and USDT-TRON.
