Our Level 1 account tier allows customers to access unlimited trading, unlimited deposits, and $10,000 per day in withdrawals simply by entering their email address and password and verifying their email. For more information, please go here.
Q: How do I verify my Poloniex account to Level 1?
To create a Level 1 Poloniex account, please go here and provide your email address and password. Be sure to provide an email address you will not lose access to. You will then be prompted to confirm your account via an account activation email sent from email@example.com.
Q: I can’t confirm my email address for my Level 1 account. I never got the email.
You should have received a Confirmation email from firstname.lastname@example.org with an account activation link. Please check both your inbox and spam folders for this email and visit the web portal for your email (for instance, Gmail.com versus a separate inbox app). Additionally, please ensure there aren't any filters enabled that may be directing our emails to a separate folder.
If still you're unable to locate the email, please whitelist or add the following email address to your contact list: email@example.com. If you’re still experiencing issues, please reach out to us and we can help to re-send the email.
Q: I can’t login to my Level 1 account due to an “Invalid Password” error. How can I reset my password?
In order to reset your password, please visit the login page here and click on the password reset feature below the sign in field. Once you begin the procedure, an email will be sent to you with a link that allows you to set a new password.
The password reset procedure will fail if your IP address changes during this period. If the procedure is failing during your attempt, please disable any VPN, any anonymous browsing feature, and anything that could possibly cause your IP address to change unusually quickly.
Q: If I lose access to my Level 1 account, how can I regain access to it?
If you lose access to your account, our Support Team will do our best to help you regain access, but we cannot guarantee the resolution time or our ability to do so. Since Level 1 accounts have much less customer information, our means of confirming account ownership are limited and the recovery process can take several months. Read this article for tips on how to secure your account and prevent yourself from losing access to it. If you lose access to your account, please create a ticket and we’ll be happy to evaluate your case.
Q: I have a Poloniex account but I lost access to my email address. What can I do to change it?
Due to security precautions, we cannot change the email address associated with an account. We may be able to transfer your funds to a new Poloniex account after a thorough security process. For more information on this process, please go here.
Q: I created an account in the past but I have not been upgraded to Level 1. Can you upgrade my account to Level 1 now?
We are taking time to upgrade existing unverified accounts to ensure the highest level of support and security possible for customers. While we cannot promise that your account will be upgraded to Level 1 at this moment, we will be gradually upgrading all unverified accounts over the next few months. We will reach out to you through your Poloniex account email address when your account has been upgraded. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.
Q: I am Level 2 and want my account to be Level 1. Can you do this and delete all of my identity verification data that I provided in the past?
In accordance with our User Agreement, we cannot delete information from open accounts that are already verified Level 2. Rest assured it will continue to be safeguarded. You can continue to use your account at Level 2, with access to the following features.
Q: Can I link a bank account to my Level 1 account?
At this time Level 1 customers are not eligible for Bank Account Connectivity. If you would like access to bank wires, please proceed to the verification process and upgrade your account to Level 2. Once your account is at Level 2, please go here for information on how to link a bank account.
Q: Can I buy bitcoin via Simplex with my Level 1 account?
Yes! Level 1 customers can link a card and buy bitcoin via Simplex. Our standard Simplex eligibility requirements still apply. Please go here to see if your account is eligible.
Q: If I win a competition with my Level 1 account, how can I claim my prize?
If you’ve won a competition, congrats! With Level 1 accounts, you can claim your prize as its value in the applicable crypto asset. If you would like to claim the physical prize you’ve won, you will have to upgrade your account to Level 2.
Q: Can I create multiple Level 1 accounts?
We only allow one account per email address.
