On March 2, 2020 from 11:40 to 13:05 UTC we experienced an outage due to a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack. We also experienced degraded performance on February 28th from 11:40 to 11:50 UTC because of a similar but less severe attack. Customer funds remained safe throughout both of these times of degraded performance.
We understand how frustrating downtime is for our customers. We have already taken steps that will help to mitigate future attacks. We are also working with our DDoS prevention vendor to further enhance our DDoS prevention capabilities moving forward.
