As part of our efforts to move closer towards our global community, we will soon be relocating our infrastructure out of the US and into Ireland. To complete this migration, we will have a period of scheduled maintenance beginning on June 13, 2020 at 14:00 UTC.
We expect maintenance to take several hours, during which the site will be offline and trading will be suspended. Once maintenance has been completed, we will bring the site back online with our markets in post-only mode for a short time before we re-enable trading. During this time, you will be able to cancel open orders and create new orders but no orders will be filled.
For updates on the maintenance while it’s underway, please check our Support Twitter account. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
June 13th Maintenance FAQ
- How long will maintenance take?
We expect maintenance to take several hours and will provide progress updates on our Support Twitter throughout. - Why are you having this maintenance period?
We’re using this maintenance period to migrate our infrastructure outside of the US and into Ireland. This will allow us to move closer to our global community and improve trading performance for customers. - Will my funds be safe?
Yes! Your funds will remain safe throughout the maintenance period. - Do I need to do anything?
We suggest API traders move their bots closer to the Dublin region (eu-west-1) to improve latency. This is not required but not doing so will likely cause higher latency for your trading. Any trusted IP addresses you have set for your API keys should not be impacted by this migration. If you need to update your trusted IP addresses, you can do so by visiting the API section within your account. Non-API customers do not have to do anything at this time. - What will happen to open orders?
We do not plan to cancel open orders for this maintenance period. Once maintenance has been completed and we open post-only mode, you will be able to cancel your open orders before full trading is re-enabled. If specific markets experience major price movements, we may cancel open orders in that market. If we decide to do so, we will notify customers through our Support Twitter. - What will happen to deposits initiated before or during planned maintenance?
Any deposits that were pending before maintenance begins and deposits that arrive during maintenance will be processed soon after the site comes back online. - What will happen to my open margin positions, open loans, or loan offers?
Open margin positions, open loans, and loan offers will not be affected by this maintenance and will remain open. However, the ability to create new loan offers or new open margin positions will be suspended during this period.
