During the campaign, Poloniex users with a balance of 100 O3 or more can enjoy a 500% APY. The longer you hold O3, the higher yield you will enjoy. The system will take the closing price of O3/USDT at 07:00 (UTC) on November 17 as the standard exchange rate for the calculation. A total of 8,000 USDT will be shared by qualified users. Each participant can win up to 200 USDT.

During the campaign, users who trade 200 USDT or more (buys + sells) in O3 are eligible for a share from the 12,000 USDT prize pool in proportion to their trading volume. Each participant can win up to 300 USDT.

 

Rules and Terms:

  1. Campaign period: 7 days, November 17, 2021 at 07:00 - November 24, 2021 at 06:59 (UTC)
  2. The eligible trading pair of this campaign is O3/USDT.
    • We calculate the cumulative trading volume of O3 in the following way: Trading volume = Sum (executed buys of the O3 trading pair) + Sum (executed sells of the O3 trading pair).
    • Deposits or withdrawals will not count towards the trading volume.
    • The trading volume will be calculated in USDT.
  3. [Hold O3 to Enjoy a 500% APY] Users may join the campaign on any given day, and Poloniex will take four snapshots of users' O3 balance at around 18:00, 00:00, 06:00, and 12:00 (UTC) each day. Please make sure you have sufficient O3 balance [Wallet - Asset Balance - O3] during this time. O3 in pending orders, pending deposits, and pending withdrawals will not count towards your balance.
    • Reward calculation: USDT reward for a user = Total O3 the user holds *500%* Number of snapshots showing that the user holds O3/365 days/4 (number of snapshots taken each day)* Exchange rate of O3 to USDT.
    • For example: User A has a balance of 1,000 O3 after depositing/trading on the second day of the campaign, and holds the same amount until the end of the campaign. User A has 6 days of snapshots (6*4=24 snapshots in total), and suppose the exchange rate of O3 to USDT is 2:1 at that time, then it translates into a prize of 1,000*500%*24/365/4*2=164 USDT.
    • Rewards are calculated based on the APY of the stage and start to accrue when the first snapshot of the account's balance is taken. The total prize pool of this campaign is 8,000 USDT. At the end of the campaign, if we determine that the total prize pool is not enough to offer an APR as specified, we will distribute the prize to users in proportion to their balance and days of participation.
  4. [12,000 USDT Giveaway for All Traders] Reward calculation: Reward for a user = 12,000 USDT * The user's cumulative trading volume of O3 / Total trading volume of O3 of all eligible users.
    • For example, User A's O3 trading volume is 1,000 USDT during the campaign, while the total trading volume of all eligible users is 50,000 USDT. In this case, User A's reward =12,000 USDT*1,000/50,000=240 USDT.
  5. Poloniex Plus Silver or higher-level members are not eligible for this campaign.
  6. Reward distribution: All rewards will be distributed in ten working days after the campaign ends. You can log in to your account and view the rewards in Activity - Wallet.
  7. If we determine that a user is using multiple accounts in an attempt to win prizes repeatedly, we will disqualify that user from this campaign.
  8. We are unable to distribute rewards or airdrops to customer accounts that are frozen, closed or based in a prohibited country. Users in the following countries/regions will not be eligible for this campaign: American Samoa, Cuba, Guam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Seychelles, the Syrian Arab Republic, the United States Minor Outlying Islands, the United States and the United States Virgin Islands.
  9. The rules of the promotion shall be subject to Poloniex’s interpretations and decisions, which shall be final.  We reserve the right to disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be cheating or violating any rules and regulations set by Poloniex.
