Dear Poloniex users,
To offer users enhanced asset privacy and a better deposit experience, Poloniex has launched an address book feature where users can choose from multiple wallet addresses when depositing a currency. Details are as follows:
- An address book allows users to choose from multiple valid deposit addresses when depositing a token of a mainnet. Users can go to Wallet > Deposit > Address and choose a wallet address from the address book. They can also add new deposit addresses to the address book.
- An address book only contains valid addresses for the currency to be deposited.
Please note:
- When a user chooses a newly added deposit address from the address book, only the chosen address will be shown on the deposit screen; other previous deposit addresses will no longer appear in Wallet > Deposit.
- Part of a user's previous deposit addresses will be kept in the address book. Both previous and newly added addresses shown in the address book are valid for deposits of the chosen currency.
- Choosing different deposit addresses will only change the QR code and address information shown on the deposit screen. Deposits to any address in the address book will be able to be delivered.
- Poloniex currently only supports the address book for the ERC20 and TRC20 network, and more networks are coming soon. The ERC20 address book allows a maximum of 200 address entries. No more addresses can be added to the address book once the limit is reached. Please follow the latest updates of Poloniex for more information.
- Poloniex currently doesn’t support the address book for API users.
- Notes on off-chain transfers:
- We currently do not charge any fees for off-chain transfers (asset transfers within Poloniex) that use the address shown on the deposit screen;
- We will soon waive fees for all off-chain transfers that use any of the addresses in the address book. Please follow our latest announcement for details.

FAQ:
1. I've deposited assets to a wallet address, but it does not show in my address book. Why?
A: Some of the historical deposit addresses and all new deposit addresses added manually to an address book will be displayed in the address book. When you select a new address for depositing, the address will replace the previous address on the deposit screen. Both previous and new addresses in the address book support deposits of the chosen currency.
2. I have many deposit addresses in the address book. Will I lose my assets if I deposit to the wrong address?
A: All addresses in an address book support deposits of the chosen token. Please rest assured that your deposits to any address in the address book will be able to be delivered, and selecting different addresses only changes the address information and QR code displayed on the deposit screen.
3. What is the capacity of my address book?
A: The ERC20 and TRC20 address book allows a maximum of 200 address entries. No more addresses can be added to the address book once the limit is reached. We currently do not support address book expansion. Please contact customer support if you have any further questions.
4. When will the address book support other networks?
A: We are working on the address book feature for other networks. Please follow the official announcements on Poloniex and information updates in your app store.
5. Why does Poloniex charge fees for my off-chain transfers (asset transfers within Poloniex), which it did not before?
A: Please check whether such off-chain transfers are using the address shown on the deposit screen. We currently do not charge any fees for off-chain transfers (asset transfers within Poloniex) that use the address shown on the deposit screen, and we do charge otherwise. We will soon waive fees for all off-chain transfers that use any of the addresses in the address book. Please follow our latest announcement for details.
